Welcome to the Internationales Gitarrenfestival Tübingen 2026.

The festival invites audiences on a musical journey through diverse cultures and sound worlds. Outstanding guitarists from different countries bring the richness of Spanish and Latin American guitar traditions to Tübingen, shaped by a southern flair, openness, and exchange.

At the heart of the festival is the guitar as an instrument of connection: carrying stories, memories, and identities, and creating spaces for encounter, shared experience, and musical dialogue.

IGT Competition 2026 - Call for applications now open

The call for applications for the IGT Competition 2026 is now open.
The Internationales Gitarrenfestival Tübingen looks forward to welcoming young talents to Tübingen and offering them a platform for musical exchange and encounter.
