Raíces is more than the theme of the Internationale Gitarrenfestival Tübingen 2026. It is an invitation to rediscover our musical roots and to explore how traditions connect people, cultures, and generations.

Across two weekends in November, Tübingen becomes a place of encounter where international artists bring together classical guitar, flamenco, jazz, Latin American music, chamber music, and symphonic repertoire. An Open Stage, the International Guitar Competition, the Laureates' Concert, the Matinee, and the festive Closing Concert complete a programme that celebrates dialogue, creativity, and artistic exchange.

At a time when so many forces seem to divide us, the festival seeks to build bridges through music—a language that connects people beyond words, borders, and differences.

Because when words reach their limits, music begins.
